Acosta Park Studios Policy Guidelines
1. Booking Confirmation
• Independent Artists: A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.
• Label Sessions: Deposits are not required, but the session must be confirmed in writing By A&R or Admin Team
2. Cancellation Policy
For labels:
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to avoid a cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made within 24-48 hours of the session will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the booked time.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or no-shows will be charged the full session amount (minimum of 4 hours).
For Independent Artists:
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made within 24-48 hours will result in a 50% refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the entire deposit.
3. No-Show Policy
• If an artist or team does not show up for a scheduled session without prior notice, the full amount of the booked session (minimum of 4 hours) will be charged. For example, if you booked a 6-hour session and fail to show up without informing us, you will still be billed for the full 6 hours, as we were unable to take in another session, had to turn away other bookings, and still have to pay staff.
4. Late Arrivals
• Sessions will begin at the scheduled time. If the artist or team arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the full amount will be charged.
5. Session Time
• The minimum booking time is 4 hours.
• If the session goes past the scheduled end time, a full additional hour will be billed at the standard hourly rate—half-hour increments are not offered.
6. Studio Etiquette
• Artists and their teams are expected to treat the studio and its equipment with respect. Any damage to the studio or equipment will result in additional charges.
7. Payment Terms
• Payment for the session is due at the beginning of the session unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
• We accept ACH wires, Zelle, Cashapp, Apple Pay, and cash.
8. Engineer Requests
• If an engineer is requested for a session and asked to travel to the studio, their rate must still be paid, regardless of any session cancellations.
9. Session Files
• For independent artists, session files will be handed over to the artist or team once the session is paid in full.
• We recommend bringing an external hard drive for file transfers.
• Acosta Park Studios is not responsible for storing session files beyond 30 days after the session. After this period, we cannot guarantee file availability.
10. Rebooking
• If you need to reschedule your session, please do so as soon as possible to avoid cancellation fees. Rescheduling within the 24-hour window will be treated as a cancellation.
11. Late Payment Policy for Labels
• Net 30 Payment Terms. All label sessions operate on net 30 payment terms. This means payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
• Late Fees: If payment is not received within the 30-day period, a late fee of 10% of the total invoice amount will be added for each week the payment is overdue. For example, if payment is one week late, the invoice will incur an additional 10% fee. If payment is two weeks late, the fee will be 20%, and so on.
• Communication: If there are any issues or delays with payment, please communicate with us promptly to discuss potential arrangements.
